We’re excited to be hosting a Go Mt. Airy Gala this spring for the first time in many years! The theme is “A Night on the Ave.” We hope you will plan to join us for a fun night out in support of the Mt. Airy Community Development Corporation on Saturday, May 4, 2024, 7-10pm.
THE MAIN EVENT: A fundraising gala benefiting the Mt. Airy CDC, featuring an open bar and a generous array of spring-season stationary hors d’oeuvres prepared by Herb Scott Catering, desserts from The Frosted Fox, live New Orleans jazz music from Reverend Chris & the Lower 19119, an awards ceremony honoring community champions including State Senator Art Haywood, and lots of photo booth fun. The gala will take place Saturday, May 4, 7-10pm at The Sedgwick Theater, home of Quintessence Theatre Group, 7137 Germantown Ave.
Early bird tickets to the gala are currently available at $125 per person, with the option to bundle tickets to the pre- and post-parties at the early bird rate $225 in total.
All proceeds benefit community programs by Mt. Airy CDC.

PRE- AND POST-PARTIES ON THE AVE:
Experience all the Avenue has to offer with optional pre- and post-parties at our partner businesses on the Ave!
Pre-party 6-7pm: Bar Lizette, 7152 Germantown Ave.
Our pre-party at Bar Lizette begins at 6pm and includes one (1) specialty cocktail as well as a selection of appetizers from their Alsatian menu, which combines French and German influences. The restaurant will be reserved exclusively for gala attendees at this time. At 7pm, you’ll simply stroll across the street for the main gala event at the Sedgwick Theater!
Pre-party tickets are $75 per person or can be bundled with a ticket to the gala and a ticket to the post-party for the early bird rate of $225.
Post-party 10-11pm: Toska Restaurant & Brewery, 7136 Germantown Ave.
Keep your night going after the gala when you attend our post-party upstairs at Toska Restaurant & Brewery, a short stroll across Germantown Ave. from the Sedgwick Theater. From 10pm, your ticket to the after-party entitles you to one (1) locally made brew and a selection of light bites and desserts specially prepared for gala attendees.
Post-party tickets are $50 per person or can be bundled with a ticket to the gala and a ticket to the pre-party for the early bird rate of $225.
