The nip in the air announces the return of fall. And with that comes the return of AUTUMN ON THE AVENUE. Our fall 2023 event will be held Thursday, October 26, 3:30-6pm.

The Go Mt. Airy Business Association invites families to bring kids in costume for a pre-Halloween trick-or-treat with warm beverages and fun activities on the 6600 through 6900 blocks of Germantown Avenue.

In addition to trick-or-treat at local businesses between Grocery Outlet and the Engine No 9 Firehouse, we’ll have hands-on kids’ crafts from ARTrageous Brush & Flow, Bella Mosaic, and Needles & Bolts, fire trucks on display by the Philadelphia Fire Department, and other fun activities to be announced. Spooky story times with children’s author Thembi Palmer of @im.storyadventures will take place at 4:30pm and 5pm in St. Michael’s Lutheran Church graveyard at the corner of Germantown Ave and E. Phil Ellena St.

Autumn on the Avenue is a light and easy start to the fall season (and Halloween in particular) and a nice way to get to know some of the businesses on the blocks.

PLEASE NOTE: Normal traffic will be traveling the avenue, so please use caution when crossing the street.
