Decemberfest is coming up Saturday, December 20, 2025! This year’s event will look a little different: We’re hosting a shopping stroll all along the Germantown Ave. corridor in Mt. Airy. We’ll have live holiday music, a visit from Black Santa, festive food & drink, fire pits, a live ice sculpting demo, and more!
Not only that, shops throughout the neighborhood will be open and offering festive cheer along with many gift items that are handmade right here in Mt. Airy. A list of participating local businesses and makers is below.
What: Decemberfest holiday shopping stroll in Mt. Airy
When: Saturday, December 20, 11am-4pm
Where: All along the Germantown Ave. commercial corridor in Mt. Airy. See the Google map for participating locations. If you can, we recommend walking the length of the corridor to see everything happening during Decemberfest. Between Johnson St. and Allens Lane is about a 30-minute, 1.3-mile walk. You can start at either end. Parking is available on the street, and the 23 bus runs right down Germantown Ave.
Many of the shops on our list will have special offers, refreshments, pop-ups and plenty of holiday cheer. Come out for a fun holiday event that celebrates the best of Mt. Airy!
