WHEN It Is: We’re going monthly on second Wednesdays from June to September:

  • Wednesday, June 10 17, 5:00-9:00pm
  • Wednesday, July 8, 5:00-9:00pm (rain date Weds 7/15)
  • Wednesday, August 12, 5:00-9:00pm (rain date Weds 8/19)
  • Wednesday, September 9, 5:00-9:00pm (rain date Weds 9/16)

WHAT It Is: At Supper Sessions, the 7100 & 7200 blocks of Germantown Avenue are closed to cars, trucks and buses, and Mt. Airy’s historic commercial corridor is opened to the people. Patrons can order from their favorite eateries and sit down to enjoy their food at communal tables arranged across the Belgian blocks and trolley tracks of Germantown Avenue. Sit down with family and neighbors, or better yet, make a new friend as you enjoy local fare. In addition to brick-and-mortar restaurants, guest food trucks add some rotating variety, local live music and a DJ set the vibe for the evening, and free kids activities ensure that Supper Sessions is fun for the whole family. If you like your supper with a side of shopping, be sure to explore the shops that will be staying open late along the block.

Parking and Transportation Logistics: The municipal lot behind Rothe Florists is closed for the event, and we recommend looking for parking beyond the event footprint, which covers Germantown Ave. between Mt. Pleasant and Allens Lane. SEPTA’s 23 bus is rerouted one block east to Chew Avenue. The Chestnut Hill West Regional Rail Line serves the Allens Lane stop, which is an 8-minute walk to the festival, while the Chestnut Hill East Regional Rail Line serves the Sedgwick stop, a 9-minute walk to the festival. We suggest walking, biking, or taking public transit if at all possible.

Family Fun: Our Kids Zone on E. Mt. Airy Ave. will offer 3 activities at no cost to families. Just Bouncin’ will set up a moon-bounce for the enjoyment of children, and Fabulous Faces will offer face painting and balloon twisting. Mt. Airy CDC is proud to offer free children’s literacy activities on all event dates. We will also have children’s musicians on select dates, child-focused vendors, and more!

Merch: Visit the Go Mt. Airy tent to get your hands on a 2026 Mt. Airy t-shirt, available for purchase on-site. This year we have 3 different styles available – all of them designed by community members! Plus, we’ll have a special shirt just for kids. You can also pick up a free copy of our new promotional map of Mt. Airy called “Meet Me in Mt. Airy” by local illustrator Mario Zucca.

Cooling Center: Merakey Total Health at 27 E. Mt. Airy Ave. will serve as a cooling center until 7pm for anyone needing a break from the heat. Attendees are welcome to rest in their air-conditioned lobby, hydrate, and use a public bathroom with baby changing station.
