While Mt. Airy CDC has several program areas designed to help local residents address specific needs, our most public-facing program is our series of public community events. Go Mt. Airy Supper Sessions, Moonlight Movies, and Autumn on the Avenue provide opportunities for local families to come together and spend time outdoors in Mt. Airy.
In 2016, Mt. Airy CDC partnered with Fairmount Park Conservancy to invigorate and activate the park grounds at Lovett Library, transforming it into a community center at the heart of Mt. Airy. Read more about that initiative.
