Mt. Airy CDC is excited to collaborate with the community to design, locate, and program new Playful Learning installations for families this year as part of the Literacy Rich Neighborhood Initiative funded by the William Penn Foundation.

Our Community Advisory Board guides this process, and we invite you to participate.

The Community Advisory Board convenes once a month to advise on the locations, designs, and programming for the installations. Meetings will continue through August 2024.

PLEASE NOTE: Prototype Testing will take place during the Supper Sessions street festival on the evening of June 12 from 6 to 8 pm. The festival is held on the 7100 & 7200 blocks of Germantown Avenue, and the design prototypes will be stationed near the intersection of Mt. Airy Ave. & Germantown Ave. Please RSVP here.
