With the generous support of AARP, Mt. Airy CDC happily presents the PhillyiHub+ business training for adults 50+.
This new program takes our successful PhillyiHub business and entrepreneurship training model and configures it for a 50+ crowd looking to build on new business ideas. Conducted via Zoom, the course proceeds in three-hour classes across six Mondays beginning November 9th. Mt. Airy CDC’s Business Services Coordinator Aaron Crump facilitates the program, with instruction from Kingdom Social Media Founder and CEO David Simons.
“We’re grateful to AARP for helping us to expand our business training program to a new and important audience,” said Aaron Crump. “Everyone can be called to entrepreneurship, and we’re thrilled to make a new skill set available to engaged older adults.”
Course to launch on November 9th
Qualifying adults may take the PhillyiHub+ course for FREE. After submitting an application, aspiring students will be interviewed by Aaron Crump and set up with course materials. The course begins on Monday, November 9th and will conclude with final presentations and a celebration on December 14th. Throughout the six weeks, you’ll interact (virtually) with your peers, identify your strengths and weaknesses, and come away with a plan that works for you.
