Second Saturdays at Cliveden: Citizenship

Saturday, July 8, 2023 @ 9:00 am 4:00 pm

Volunteer at Cliveden and join in the conversation with VUOTS (Victoria Urban Outreach Tutoring Services INC) and Every Voice, Every Vote tomorrow, July 8th for our Second Saturday program!

The day begins with volunteering in our gardens and landscape with our Preservation Director from 9am to 12pm. Cliveden is home to a vibrant landscape and three gardens, and neighbors are encouraged to work with us every Second Saturday in keeping the landscape beautiful for the community! No experience is needed, all tools will be provided. Volunteers should meet at the Carriage House and Barn (98 E. Cliveden Street, 19119) at 9am. For any questions about volunteering, please send an email to info@cliveden.org.

Free tours of Cliveden’s Main House and new exhibit, The Turmoil of Transition, will be available 12pm to 4pm! Tours begin on the hour, with the last tour at 3pm. No registration is needed. Local vendors and organizations will be here, also from 12pm to 4pm, to share information about the services and goods they provide – be sure to stop by their tables!

At 2:30pm, join in an open conversation about civic engagement in the Carriage House and Barn with VUOTS and Every Voice, Every Vote. The conversation is free and open to all, registration through Eventbrite is suggested: https://www.eventbrite.com/…/vuots-community…
