In 2022, there were 107,071 overdose deaths in the US. 293 people each day. This artwork is a response to that loss and the emotions surrounding addiction. It’s a love letter to people who use drugs, a hug of support and community, a message of love to our family and friends who suffer.

Lisa Kelley is a trauma-informed artist, activist and advocate who is interested in exploring the intersection of art and social change.
