Join Friends of the Cresheim Trail and our friends in Mt. Airy and Chestnut Hill for our annual spring cleanup of Cresheim Valley Drive between Germantown and Stenton Avenues. (We do the section between Germantown Ave and Allens Lane in the fall.) We’ll meet at Chestnut Hill Mermaid Park and walk on the Drive, which will be closed to cars for the morning. It’s part of the Love Your Park spring festivities. We’ll meet at Chestnut Hill Mermaid Park, the grassy pocket park on Germantown Avenue between Mermaid Inn and Chestnut Hill Flower & Garden. PLEASE NOTE: The Chestnut Hill Farmers Market will be happening, so if you’re driving, please allow yourself a few extra minutes and park a block or two away. There is usually parking on Germantown Avenue (Mt Airy side) and Mermaid Lane.
