The S. family had never owned their own home. With 6 kids, they were squeezed into an uncomfortable rental in Olney. 

Our first-time homebuyer workshop and 1-on-1 counseling with our HUD-certified counselors helped them buy their first home – an attractive two-story brick twin on E. Mt. Pleasant St. 

Now the family has a green lawn where they can play outside on a safe block, a dining room where they can all eat dinner together, and space for the kids to sleep comfortably. Daughter Melody, 10, even has her own room for the first time, which she is decorating with paper flowers and other artwork.
