Architectural and landscape historian Emily Cooperman will discuss her research for the Cliveden Cultural Landscape Project, a comprehensive study about the history of the landscape at Cliveden, occupied by the Chew family and their households as a country seat, 1763-1970. The project surveyed and documented the design and chronology of the natural, horticultural and built features of the landscape as the property was established, expanded and subdivided, and Philadelphia developed around it.

Changes Over Time: Exploring the Landscape is free to the public and will be presented on Zoom. Registration is required through the online form on our website: https://cliveden.org/cliveden-conversations/. Registrants will receive the Zoom presentation link the day before the program. If you do not receive the link, please contact our office at 215-848-1777.
